Colombia The Indian
red fruits, cocoa, cherries
Colombia in its most luscious, fruity form – and also one of our birthday coffees. Colombia El Indio comes from the Planadas region in Tolima, a place known for high altitudes, fertile soils, and coffees with exceptional depth of flavor. Caturra variety beans grow here at an altitude of 1500–2150 m above sea level, where they ripen slowly, building sweetness, intensity, and a complex sensory profile.
This coffee is processed using the natural method, which results in a distinctly ripe, fruity character in the cup. Red fruits, juicy cherry, and a delicate hint of cocoa dominate the flavor. The whole is sweet, full-bodied, and pleasantly balanced – with fruity energy, but also a soft, dessert-like finish.
Colombia El Indio is excellent for pour-over methods. This is an option for those who like expressive, aromatic, and naturally sweet coffees, yet still elegant and clean in taste. The birthday character of this coffee emphasizes its uniqueness – it's a cup that combines the intensity of Colombian terroir with the lightness of a fruity profile.

Owocowa strona kawy
Kolumbia
Caturra to jedna z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych odmian arabiki w Ameryce Łacińskiej.

How to brew?
Aeropress
1. WEIGHT
We recommend using 15.5 grams of coffee per 250 grams of water. This will result in a juicy brew with a pleasant body.
2. BREW
We recommend distributing water at 94˚C in 2 portions - 50 grams for a thirty-second pre-infusion, then 200 grams.
3. PUSH IT THROUGH
Start pressing at 1 minute and 50 seconds – this should take you about 30 seconds. Remember to remove the device from the scale and press into a safe container.
4. WATCH
If the brewing time differs from the recommended time, or the flavor isn't to your liking, adjust the grinder settings next time you make your coffee. Let your taste and preferences guide you!
